Making Life Work Well
The Babraham Institute provides many facilities, benefits and policies so staff, students, visitors and collaborators can make life work well.
In our 2018 staff consultations we asked about the things we do well in helping people to combine work and family life. Responses included:
'Being able to drop my children off at the brilliant nursery and then park for free right next to my building means so much less stress for me'
'I know I can switch off completely when I leave work and there’s no pressure to stay late.'
'Campus life is good for reducing stress. I think the gym, yoga and beautiful grounds all help with mental health.'
