Larissa Catharina Costa studied Biomedical Science at Centro Universitario Plínio Leite in Brazil. She specialized in Microbiology and Parasitology at Universidade Federal Fluminense; holds a MSc in Clinical Research in Infectious Diseases from Instituto Evandro Chagas in Fundação Oswaldo Cruz and a PhD in Computational Biology and Systems from Instituto Oswaldo Cruz in Fundação Oswaldo Cruz. She also completed her Post-doc in Bioinformatics and Epidemiology at the Centro de Integração de Dados e Conhecimentos para Saúde. She has experience in Immunology (Cellular and Molecular), Microbiology, Parasitology, Genetics, Bioinformatics and Systems Biology. Since April 2023 she has been working as a Flow Cytometry Technician in the Flow Cytometry Facility at the Babraham Institute.
