Following the success of our first teacher placements in February 2016, the Babraham Institute is pleased to announce that it will be offering four placements through the STEM Insight Programme from the 17th – 24th October 2016. The placements are supported by the Biochemical Society and the National STEM Learning Centre and Network.
The placement based at the Babraham Research Campus will include hands-on experience in Institute research (epigenetics, immunology, nuclear dynamics, signalling) and scientific facilities, visits to companies co-located on the campus and sessions with scientific support departments such as commercialisation, public engagement and science communication.
Read the descriptions from February’s placement teachers to get an insight into what to expect.
The deadline for applications has now been extended to Friday 9th September.
