New Public Engagement blog launched

The Impact section of the Institute website now features a blog page, with articles written by a range of authors, all of whom have a passion for sharing their enthusiasm about their science.

Over 300 scientists work in the laboratories and science facilities at the Babraham Institute, regularly publishing their world-leading research to their peers in other research institutions around the world. While our News pages feature articles about our research and our researchers, the blog posts give them the chance to talk about the activities and events they carry out to share their research stories.

Whether it’s a science festival, a video project or a school visit, our scientists love to discuss their research and share their passion for science with audiences from 3 to 83 years old, from home-schooled children to young farmers and from around the corner to around the world.

Discussing the inspiration that feeds their desire for discovery, the novel techniques behind the latest scientific advancement or talking about why it’s great to go back to your primary school to inspire another generation of scientists, our blog posts will show you that the life of a scientist continues far beyond the bench!
