Postdoctoral Research Scientist
This exciting project will build on important recent findings from the lab (Fletcher et al. 2018. EMBO Journal doi: 10.15252/embj.201797840). The work will involve a range of techniques including fluorescent microscopy, flow cytometry and transcriptomic analysis, to study immune cells derived from existing novel mouse strains. Expert training will be provided for all of these techniques where required.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry or a related biological discipline. Experience in the immune system or autophagy fields is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will join an interactive group in the Signalling Programme at the Babraham Institute. They will have access to a range of training opportunities, in both scientific and transferable skills, and will be expected to participate in an active programme of group meetings and departmental seminars.
Starting salary is £30,751 per annum to £33,000 per annum
