We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join the Babraham Institute’s Impact Team to provide administrative and event support.

The Impact Team supports Institute staff and students in maximising the impact of their work, through scientific exchange with a variety of stakeholders, commercialisation of our research, engagement with public audiences and dissemination of our work through a variety of communication channels.

The Team’s remit includes a variety of events and activities including conferences, technology transfer (including contract management), schools outreach, public events, press work etc. You will work with the team to support administration around these events and activities. 

The ideal candidate will have;
  • Considerable administrative experience in a similar post;
  • The ability to adapt and work flexibly, be approachable and is highly organised;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience of events organisation would be advantageous although not essential.
This is a part time post for approximately 22 hours per week - working hours and days are flexible between Monday and Friday.

Starting salary is £11,490 - £12,767 per annum prorata (£19,324 - £21,472 FTE) depending on experience.
