Flow Cytometry Technician (22.5 hours per week)

Core Facility

The core facility is equipped with state of the art machines and is situated within a growing research campus that is home to the Institute and over 60 companies.   For information about the core facility and the equipment can be found on https://www.babraham.ac.uk/science-services/flow-cytometry
 
The post holder will assist the Head of the Facility in providing a smooth and reliable cell sorting and analysis service to researchers.   This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop a career in cytometry.
 
The ideal candidate would have prior experience of flow cytometry, however this is not essential as full training for the post will be given.  This position is ideal for those with a science background, who are interested in working in dynamic core facility.  It would also be perfect for anyone wanting to return to lab work following a career break.
 
Funding for this position is available for two years in the first instance.

Starting salary is £14,125 per annum to £16,143 per annum for 22.5 hours per week depending on experience.
