Babraham Institute Enterprise is the wholly-owned trading arm of the Babraham Institute.
We are looking for a Commercialisation Manager to join our dynamic team to deliver the Institute’s Commercialisation activities as part of the Institute’s Knowledge Exchange and Commercialisation (KEC) strategy.
This is a key role in BI’s KEC team that involves working with Institute staff, students and other stakeholders to help maximise the impact of BI’s research. The role holder is responsible for the management of the Institute’s patent portfolio, and will negotiate contracts on behalf of the Institute.
The role holder will also manage the KEC Officer.
Applicants will have a PhD in a relevant scientific subject or equivalent experience, and will also have significant experience in commercialisation activities including contract negotiation.

Starting salary is £39,005 per annum to £43,342 per annum depending on experience.
