Keith has deep experience of commercialising early-stage intellectual property and enabling scientific technology start-ups. In the course of his career he has managed hundreds of technology licenses, transfers and start-ups, and has been a Board member of multiple companies and non-profits. Some of Keith’s key roles include: Executive Director of Technology Commercialization and Research Park Manager at Washington State University; Director of Commercialization – Life Sciences at Virginia Tech; Founding Director of Technology Transfer and Industrial Relations at Khalifa University (Abu Dhabi); Scientific Advisor at law firm Lyon and Lyon; and Research Scientist / Business Development at Mycogen, a San Diego based biotech company.
Keith is a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) with significant international experience in advising and training in innovative technology transfer. Technically trained in life sciences, he has a PhD from North Carolina State University and a BSc (Hons) Biology from University of Southampton, England. He is an inventor on three patents.
