Anup Singh

Anup completed his PhD in epigenetic regulation of key cell cycle regulators and their deregulation by Hepatitis B virus X protein from ICGEB, New Delhi. After completing his PhD, Anup moved to MD Anderson Cancer Centre to study role of histone and non-histone protein methylation in stem cell biology. Then he joined Imperial College London to study the role of APOBEC3B in breast cancer pathogenesis. He is very keen in understanding the molecular mechanism of epigenetic regulation in cancer and early embryonic development. In Christophorou lab, he is using biochemical, genetic and molecular methods to understand the role of PADI4 enzyme in pluripotency and early embryonic development.
