Elpida Tsonou

Elpida has an MRes in Translational Medicine from the University of Manchester where she worked on the role of the bone related transcription complex RUNX2/CBFβ in the metastatic phenotype of breast cancer cells, and a BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the Democritus University of Thrace, Alexandroupolis, Greece. She worked as a Research Scientist at Horizon Discovery in Cambridge before joining our lab as a PhD student funded by a BBSRC CASR PhD studentship with MedImmune.
