About the FlyLab
Our lab is funded mostly by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council of the UK (BBSRC) and located at the Babraham Institute. It usually has around 8 people with an even mix of post-docs and Ph.D students who are registered for their degree at the University of Cambridge.
The lab is very international in character and recent members have come from Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Netherlands, India and Spain. Lab members work on distinct projects around a central theme. We have regular lab meetings every Friday morning where members present their ongoing work.
The FlyLab is relocating from the Babraham Institute to the National Centre for Biological Sciences (www.ncbs.res.in) in the summer of 2010. A number of Ph.D and post-doc opportunities are available. Please contact Dr. Raghu Padinjat at one of the following e-mail addresses:
