Protein Expression Facility

The Facility offers an extensive range of services and expertise in recombinant protein expression (in insect cells and E. coli) and purification, including use of AKTA HPLC and Pharmacia SMART HPLC microseparation equipment.
In addition, links with the Biochemistry department at the University of Cambridge give Institute researchers access to equipment and expertise in X-ray crystallography and NMR for collaborative protein structure studies.
