Antigen: S-cis, trans-abscisic acid -4'-p-aminobenzoyl hydrazone
conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin.
This monoclonal antibody reacts with the plant hormone abscisic acid and is the basis of a widely used radioimmunoassay for abscisic acid in plant tissues (1,2). Has also been adapted to ELISA assays (3,4). MAC 252 was obtained (5) after recloning the hybridoma MAC 62 described in refs. 1 and 2.

Antigen: DAPP1 recombinant protein
DAPP1 is a 32Kd protein containing a PH domain and an SH2 domain that is a recently discovered effector of the PI3 kinase pathway. This molecule is possibly enriched in B cells. This polyclonal antibody has been used to detect DAPP1 on Western blots (1). DAPP1 (2), Bam 32 (3) and PHISH (4) are nomenclatures given to the same protein discovered by different research groups.

This monoclonal antibody reacts with the carboxy-terminal KDEL motif responsible for the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) localisation of several proteins. It is applicable as an ER marker in a wide variety of species (insects, mammals, plants) and also marks the ER-derived ‘ricinosome’ compartment in senescing plant tissue. It reacts strongly with protein disulphide isomerase.
