The village of Sawston is only a few minutes‚ drive from the Institute. Here you can find a sports centre, banks, shops, post office, health centre and dental practice.
The George Pub, located on the High Street and a 5 minute walk from the Campus, has an excellent atmosphere. Food is served at lunchtime and in the evenings.
Schools in the immediate locality include Babraham C of E Primary School, Sawston Village College (ages 11-16) and Linton Village College (11-16).
Cambridge city centre is within 15 minutes' drive of the Institute.
