Institute Life

There is a strong sense of community about the campus, which encompasses staff of the Babraham Institute, Babraham Bioscience Technologies and a number of small and medium-sized independent biomedical and biotech companies. The refectory, located in the Old Hall provides an excellent selection of hot and cold foods, salads and snacks at subsidised rates and a meeting place for all campus staff. There is also a sports and social club, which organises events throughout the year.

The Institute has its own Nursery set in the spacious grounds of the Babraham Estate. Run by qualified and highly experienced staff, also employees of the Institute, the nursery provides a safe, attractive and stimulating environment for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
