The club is the main focus for social events on site, designed to help you relax or enjoy yourself after a demanding and successful day at work (and for all those other days)!
The Clubroom, selling soft drinks, wines and beers, is open at lunchtimes and evenings during the week, and also at the weekend. The Sports and Social club is run entirely by voluntary effort and a number of events are arranged throughout the year including a Burns’ Night supper, summer BBQs, art exhibitions, sporting tournaments, graduate student parties, quiz nights and film evenings. We are happy to consider other events and are always keen to meet new and enthusiastic people!
Affiliated sports groups include football, volleyball, tennis, aerobics and fishing and if you are interested in starting a new activity, get in touch with the committee to see if we can help. There is a new, all-weather tennis court and a gym with rowing machines, bikes and an 8 station multigym. There is an aerobics club and yoga sessions.
